Terms & Conditions
By accessing and using the Aisha Mosque Marriage Introductions (AMMI) platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Section 1

Eligibility
Who may register and use AMMI.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to marry under UK law.
  • You must be a British citizen or hold valid permanent residency in the United Kingdom.

Section 2

Accuracy of information
Truthful and complete information is required at all times.

You agree to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information at all times. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in rejection, suspension, or permanent removal of your profile without refund.

Section 3

Verification requirements
Valid documentation is required before approval.

To ensure the integrity and safety of the service, you must provide valid identification documents, including:

  • Proof of identity (e.g. passport or residence permit)
  • Proof of address
  • Supporting documentation where applicable (e.g. divorce certificate)

Failure to provide valid documentation will result in rejection of your application.

Section 4

Membership fees
Membership fees are confirmed before payment and are non-refundable once paid.
  • There is no fee to submit an initial application. The membership fee is payable only after your application has been approved by our administrators.
  • The membership fee is set by AMMI administrators and may be updated from time to time. The amount due is always shown on screen and confirmed before you complete checkout.
  • All membership fees for first join, renewal, and reactivation are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once payment has been successfully completed, regardless of usage, outcome, or circumstances.
  • Payments are processed securely by PayPal (PayPal wallet or card via PayPal). AMMI does not collect or store your card details.

Section 5

Approval process
Registrations require independent review by two administrators.
  • All registrations are subject to verification by the AMMI administration team.
  • Application approval requires independent review by two authorised administrators (dual-admin verification). A single administrator approval is not sufficient.
  • Approval is not guaranteed and may be declined at the discretion of AMMI.
  • Processing times may vary.

Section 6

Account conduct
Respectful behaviour in accordance with Islamic principles.

Users must behave respectfully and in accordance with Islamic principles. The following will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment or inappropriate communication
  • Misuse or sharing of personal data
  • Dishonest or deceptive behaviour
  • Any conduct deemed un-Islamic or harmful

Violation will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal without refund.

Section 7

Privacy, confidentiality & data protection
How AMMI handles your personal data under UK GDPR.

AMMI is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using this service, you agree that:

  • Your data will be collected and processed solely for the purpose of facilitating marriage introductions
  • Your personal information will be stored securely and accessed only by authorised AMMI administrators
  • Your profile will remain restricted to approved users only
  • Sensitive information (including photos and contact details) will not be publicly displayed

AMMI will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

Full details of the data we collect, how we use it, retention periods, cookies, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Section 8

Data retention & your rights
Your UK GDPR rights in brief.

In line with UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent at any time

In summary: verification identity documents are deleted when your application is approved. If membership ends and you do not renew within about 30 days, we close your account and delete your personal details, photos, and uploaded files promptly. If you close your account yourself, we apply the same prompt deletion of personal data. Limited records (such as payments, security audits, and consent evidence) may be kept where the law requires — full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Section 9

Confidentiality of members
You must not share other members' information.

Members must not copy, store, share, or distribute any information, images, or details of other users. Any breach of confidentiality will result in immediate removal and may lead to further action.

Section 10

Use of Mehram
Guardian arrangements must be respected.

Female users may provide the contact details of a Mehram or guardian. Male users must respect this arrangement and communicate appropriately at all times.

Section 11

Safety & personal responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety when meeting others.

Users are responsible for their own safety when communicating or meeting others. AMMI does not guarantee compatibility, character, or outcomes. We strongly advise:

  • Involving family or a Mehram
  • Meeting in safe, public or supervised environments

Section 12

Service limitations
AMMI facilitates marriage introductions — not guaranteed outcomes.

AMMI provides a marriage introduction platform for halal introductions only. We do not guarantee:

  • Matches or successful introductions
  • Marriage outcomes
  • Availability of specific profiles

Section 13

Suspension & removal
AMMI may remove accounts that breach these Terms.

AMMI reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or remove any user or profile at its discretion if there is a breach of these Terms or behaviour deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or harmful. No refunds will be issued.

Section 14

Platform changes
The platform may be updated or temporarily suspended.

AMMI may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the platform at any time for maintenance or operational reasons.

Section 15
